The indifference

some reason (but for some reason, eh?) Word turns me in the head by a lot 'of time:

indifference

but uncaring and of course the expression I do not care!

when I went to re-read how and why this word has appeared in the Italian language of the family (something I remembered, but I wanted to be sure).

Remember Migliorini Baldelli-[1] motto that I do not care Gabriele D'Annunzio used it payable to his writing paper in 1912 (by copying, however, Olindo Warriors).
soon become the motto of the squad and born in Fiume careless indifference and .

Similarly we have an expression in French je-m'en-foutisme (but translating it right, it would be better to use je-m'en-fichisme ). In English slang, we don't-give-a-damn attitude.

wonder if Rhett Butler that the Italian version of 1939's Gone with the Wind replied with a Frankly, I do not care [2], Scarlett O 'Hara who asks him, in tears,

If you go, what will become of me? What shall I do?

today would say my Bella, you know what? I do not care highly!

[2] Frankly, my dear, I do not give a damn.
