Mentre leggevo It sees nothing a testo del compianto Daniel Arasse (uno storico dell'arte) Trovo questa frase:
" This would not be serious . Serio luder , "serious play", yet you know the proverb of the Renaissance (...). It seems that to be serious, you should take you seriously, be Serios not seria as you say in italien (...). Toi, Giulia, serious? Par pity! " [1].
No, I'm sorry, Daniel Arasse: does not mean staid take itself seriously, in Italian. Neither of us calling itself (the bargain as a compliment) as staid and serious. Never ever.
add that there are others who may be given such an attitude: dead serious / serious.
And that is always and only a superficial attitude and affect the reliability of a real person.
