Eye Pain After Cataract

latinorum feared by Renzo Tramaglino and not only at the request

Tramaglino Renzo and Dr. Azzeccagarbugli
( The Betrothed, chap. III)

One thing I like immensely Italians who write essays ( but also that they speak correct Italian) is to cram their expressions say Latin (not to mention the French).

So while beyond the Alps, everything is rigorously translated into the language of the host, in Italy you will find here and there - I put just a taste - such expressions:

ante its time - before the word (or concept) there

sic et simpliciter - so simple, stark

nec plus ultra - the maximum

a priori / a posteriori - before you even know / understand / do, after they know / heard / done, etc..

mea culpa - between two commas, so affected to take a fault, but mostly for the reason set out in the following phrase (captatio benevolentiae)

captatio benevolentiae - grab the good will, win the sympathy (well, for pleasure now and be forgiven - if necessary - I have thought / said / done something wrong)

(say something) Room Caritatis (I always said my top, that is) - away from prying ears (I just cut off the discussion: I hated and hate that expression)

incipit (more rare: explicit ) beginning (ending, final)

vexed question - question on the controversial issue which has not yet reached a common agreement

Busillis - difficult to resolve (in France there an alternative, similar but not identical: the hic voila, that is: here is the problem)

pede slow (or walking bus Calcantibus ) - walk (with your feet , fig. = à la va-vine, a bird's eye, carelessly, evil )

neck reluctantly - reluctantly, against (my) will

the boss - keep quiet, because where is the major (greater than or charged or skill), the minor must be silent.
And then, as minor, if any of you want to add other words that he / she uses daily, Please take a seat .

En passant, I add here three French expressions - tout court - which are very à la page (though this expression is no longer dans le vent) .

How to tell? (I paraphrase:) explicatio not petita accusatio manifests !

For those who desire to learn more, go sull'onnipresente wikipedia to the Latin phrase, do not give potendovela hand delivered, I put the link here.

And with the kind of indication Anonymous strictly a friend, add a hilarious video:
